XRDS processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:
- First and last name
- Address details
- Email address
- Other personal data you actively provide, for example by sending a message through this website, in correspondence, or by phone
- Location data if permission has been given via the browser
- Data about your activities on our website
- Internet browser and device type
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify if a visitor is over 16 years old. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without permission, please contact us at info@xrds.be, and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data
XRDS processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
- To be able to call or email you if necessary to perform our services
- XRDS analyses your behaviour on the website to improve the website and tailor the range of products and services to your preferences.
How long we retain personal data
XRDS does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:
- Personal data > 2 years
- Address > 2 years
Sharing personal data with third parties
XRDS only provides to third parties and only if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

View, Modify, or Delete Data
You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by XRDS. You also have the right to data portability, meaning you can request us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or to another organization specified by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@xrds.be.
To ensure the request for access is made by you, we ask that you send a copy of your identification along with your request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and National Register number. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. XRDS would also like to inform you that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Privacy Commission.
How We Secure Personal Data
XRDS takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized alteration. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service or via info@xrds.be.
